Aphex Twin announces COLLAPSE EP
Aphex Twin has shared release details for his forthcoming EP, alongside a new video for first track ‘T69 collapse’.
Released on 14 September across digital and physical formats, the ‘Collapse EP’ features five new Aphex Twin tracks – the first on Warp since 2016’s ‘Cheetah EP’.

Aphex Twin sells out 8000 cap Berlin venue
The mastermind of ‘Windowlicker’ and ‘Come to Daddy’, who notoriously shuns the spotlight, selected Shedhalle, Berlin’s spectacular warehouse concert hall in the GDR broadcasting station to host his first show in Berlin in 15 years.

The 18th edition of Club To Club, #C2C18, will take place in Turin from 1st to 4th November. The first name in the lineup to be unveiled is one of the most iconic and influential musicians of the past 30 years: Aphex Twin.
Born in Ireland and raised in Cornwall, Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin first found fortune with his imprint Rephlex and subsequently with cult label Warp Records, on which he released a plethora of records that went on to become contemporary classics: his productions have touched many different genres yet they remain unclassifiable, just like his logo (and his face) have become pop icons. While his ironic, media-shy approach has contributed to build around him a legendary aura, Aphex Twin’s musical legacy, broad as much as it is indisputable, has paved the way to new sounds and approaches, changing the history of music forever.
Club To Club is also pleased to announce the theme for the new edition: La luce al buio [light over darkness].

Aphex Twin releases new material via new online shop
First up is Orphans, a four-track EP with two AFX remixes credited to Richard D James’s longtime friend and collaborator Luke Vibert. The record that Warp slipped out during Field Day also gets a digital release with six extra bonus tracks. There are three demo versions of his landmark track “Windowlicker” in the cache, as well as a “dry version” of Philip Glass‘s take on “Icct Hedral.”
In addition, he’s tacked on bonus tracks to …I Care Because You Do, Analord 07, Donkey Rhubarb, Hangable Auto Bulb, Ventolin, Come To Daddy, Girl Boy, Drukqs, Orphaned Deejay Selek 2006-2008 and Syro, in addition to his sole album as Polygon Window, Surfing On Sine Waves, and his 1994 EP self-titled EP as GAK. His 2007 record as The Tuss, Rushup Edge, originally released on Rephlex, is also available digitally. James also notes that all Rephlex material will be uploaded “in due course” along with extras.

Aphex Twin to play Day for Night Festival
Aphex Twin is confirmed to perform at Houston’s Day For Night festival, which takes place on December 17 and 18, 2016.
The artist’s last US performance was 8 years ago, at Coachella 2008.

Announcing ‘Syro’ – A new album by Aphex Twin to be released on Warp Records 22/23 September.

Aphex Twin headlining Bang Face Weekender
Richard D James makes his one and only rave show appearance in 2012 to headline Bang Face in their new location in Cornwall over the weekend 14th – 16th Sept. Other highlights from camp LB include Venetian Snares and Tim Exile alongside a stellar line up of jungle, rave, bass and electronics set to blow people away hardstyle.
