Jon Hopkins

Jon Hopkins has spent more than two decades redefining the boundaries between electronic music, modern classical composition and immersive sound design. A Grammy Award winner and Mercury Prize nominee, his work has earned millions of listeners worldwide through landmark albums including Immunity, Singularity, Music For Psychedelic Therapy and, most recently, RITUAL.

Released in 2024 on Domino, RITUAL marked a bold new chapter in Hopkins' catalogue: an uninterrupted eight-part work exploring transcendence, meditation and deep listening, drawing together his interests in electronic composition, psychoacoustics and altered states. The album further cemented his reputation for creating immersive works that blur the boundaries between electronic music, contemporary composition and transformative listening experiences.

Alongside his solo work, Hopkins continues to collaborate with some of contemporary music's most celebrated artists. Recent releases include Reckoning with Imogen Heap, HAAi's SATELLiTE, and production contributions to projects by artists including Coldplay and Charli xcx. His work as a composer has also continued to expand, most recently with the acclaimed soundtrack to the feature documentary Wilding.

Jon's live performances continue to evolve with each new body of work. His current show sees him joined by longtime collaborator Leo Abrahams and multi-instrumentalist Maddie Ashman, creating a deeply immersive performance that combines live instrumentation, electronics and improvisation with the meticulous sound design for which Hopkins is renowned. Moving fluidly between moments of meditative stillness and overwhelming intensity, the performance reimagines material from across his catalogue while embracing the expansive world of RITUAL.

Recent years have seen Hopkins return to some of the UK's most prestigious stages, including a landmark performance at the Royal Albert Hall and, in 2026, a specially curated appearance as part of Harry Styles' Meltdown Festival, where he presented an intimate and highly acclaimed performance with Leo Abrahams and Maddie Ashman alongside his immersive installation work. The project represents a new chapter in Hopkins' live output, offering audiences an experience that is at once cinematic, deeply human and emotionally expansive.
